After your cleaning: how to dry your furniture

WATERFALL Upholstery & Carpet Cleaning leaves your cushions set up to dry: leave them that way, turn them over after 2 to 4 hours, keep the air moving and use the furniture only when it is completely dry, usually between 2 and 6 hours. Questions: call or text (747) 214-6199.

How to dry your furniture

  1. Leave the cushions the way we set them

Before leaving, the technician stands the cushions up so air reaches every side. Leave them that way and do not stack them.

  2. Turn them over after 2 to 4 hours

Flip every cushion so both sides dry evenly.

  3. Open the windows

The air in the room is humid after the cleaning; the sooner the damp air leaves, the sooner the fabric and the carpet dry.

  4. Run a fan or the air conditioning

Keep the air moving, with a fan kept back from the fabric. Keep heaters and hair dryers away from the fabric: direct heat can damage it.

  5. Wait until everything is completely dry

Do not sit on the furniture or put the cushions back until everything is completely dry; a cushion put back damp can start to smell. Drying usually takes between 2 and 6 hours; humid weather, ocean air, thick cushions and a cool evening make it longer.
