The equipment is mobile, so the floor and the distance from the road do not matter. The shampoo goes in and the extraction machine pulls it back out with the dirt; a special product in the clean rinse water neutralizes the cleaning solution and closes the fibers, so the carpet stays clean longer. Before we come, clear the room of toys, clothing and other objects, and move furniture that stands on the carpet, to leave a clear workspace.
- Pre-vacuuming: loose dirt and debris come off first.
- Shampooing: an organic shampooing solution is worked deep into the fibers with a machine.
- Steam extraction: a high-powered steam-extraction machine (hot-water extraction) removes the shampoo, the dirt and the excess moisture.
