Short answers to what people ask before they book.
How to get beach sand out of a couch
Sand and dust are abrasive and are best vacuumed out before cleaning; salt and humid air slow drying; clean more often where sand comes in.
How often should carpet be cleaned?
Clean carpet about once a year, sooner in busy rooms; replace it when the backing, the pile or the smell has failed, not by its age.
Can you steam clean a mattress?
Strip the bed, work in a shampoo, extract it with the dirt and let the mattress dry before it is made up again.
How often to clean a couch or upholstery
Our advice: once a year for a couch in daily use, every 6 months with pets or small children, every two years for a seldom-used piece.
